Server Start

If the server is currently in one of the other two modes, you may select this option. It will put VADV32 into normal operation mode, which accepts incoming connections and passes them onto the BBS.

Server Stop

If the server is currently in one of the other two modes, you may select this option. When chosen, VADV32 will stop accepting any incoming connections.

Server Offline

If the server is currently in one of the other two modes, you may select this option. This option puts VADV32 into "offline" mode, which means that it will accept any incoming connection, but to the end user it will display a message stating that the BBS is currently down for maintenance and to try calling back later. The user is then disconnected.

Reload Settings

This option will reload all configuration files and update the entire main window. It basically will restart the program without having to actually restart the program.

Backup Files

This manually runs the daily backup. It stores each of the configured BBS paths and places the archive in the location configured in VADV32 Configuration. If the archive has been created for the day, when run, it will be overwritten.

This feature requires that ZIP files be configured in the archive configuration and that the application be accessible by the BBS.
