VDOC Help
VDOC is the standard document reader, printer and search
engine for Virtual ComTech International, Inc. softwre product
documentation. With it you can leisurely browse the software
documentation, or very quickly search all files or one file for
the term or phrase you want.
Document Selection Screen
From the document selection screen, you can use the
UP/DOWN arrows to select a doc file to view or print. Pressing
V (or ENTER) displays the file, and pressing P sends the file
to your printer. Press A to send all files to the printer.
Pressing S on the Document Selection Screen initiates a GLOBAL
SEARCH of all files for a particular keyword, term, or phrase.
The global search function cannot be overlooked; it is one of
the most important and fastest ways for you find the information
you want. Pressing Q or ESC quits VDOC.
Document Display Screen
Once you have a document up on the screen for display,
you can use the UP/DOWN/PGUP/PGDN keys to navigate back and forth
through the text file. Pressing Q or ESC exits the document
viewer and returns you to the opening screen.

If you are in GLOBAL SEARCH mode:

-Pressing S allows you to change the global search term.

-Pressing N brings you to the next occurence of your
          search term.

If you are in LOCAL SEARCH mode:

-Pressing S allows you to start a new search with a new
          local search term.

-Pressing N brings you to the next occurence of your
              search term.

If you are not in any search mode:

-Pressing S allows you to start a new search with a new
          local search term.
Printing
Before you can begin printing ("P" or "A" from the
VDOC main selection section), your printer must be on-line,
loaded with paper, and ready to go.
