VTIC is the VADV utility which will process FIDOnet TIC files. The ported version fixes issues with the original as well as adding new features.

Command-line parameters:

/AREA=x - Manual TIC creation: The area name.

/CHECKPW - Force password validation. By default, VTIC does not check the password that is found in the TIC file. You can use this parameter to have it compare the TIC password with your AREAFIX password. If they do not match then the TIC is discarded.

/DESC=x - Manual TIC creation: The file description.

/FILE=x - Manual TIC creation: Full path and filename.

/NODE=x - Manual TIC creation: The recipient node number.

/PATH=x - Path to process incoming TIC files. You use this parameter to import TIC files. Just specify the directory in which the TIC files are found and VTIC will import them into your BBS. This option will perform an outbound update before exiting.

/SAVE=x - This is the path to save any TIC files which could not be processed.

/UPDATE (/U) - Process outgoing TIC files. This option will create the TIC files and place them into your outbound directory for mailing.

/VERSION (/VER) - Version information. This displays the current version number.

/? - Display the available parameters.
