i just talked to one of the guys that works at the shop, get this:

27 peice

5 bass drums (i have NO idea why)
3 snares (piccolo, 5'' deep, 9'' deep)
10 toms
6 floor toms
3 timpanis

the set LITTERALLY surrounds him! i saw the picture, it was an overhead shot.
i couldn't count the cymbals, but there where alot!!
