   Europe forecast - December 26, 2024
   Sunny continent
   Clouds north, calming winds

   Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 26th December 2024
   Duty forecaster: Dan Graves

   Central Europe mostly sunny and calm. Beginning to settle in the
   eastern Mediterranean Friday.

   Boxing Day Thursday
   Mostly sunny with cloud patches in northern Spain, fine in Portugal.
   Scattered clouds and breezy east into the Mediterranean with showers
   east of Sardinia and Corsica. Italy mostly sunny with showers south.
   Thundery showers continuing in southern Greece and T├╝rkiye, gale force
   gusts possible in the Aegean. Quite cloudy inland.
   High pressure spreads sun across most of France and central Germany
   giving central Europe a fine day. Sun extends east across the Alps
   towards Slovakia, Hungary, northern Croatia, and northern Romania.
   Clouds south of here with patchy snow and showers in Bulgaria and north
   Greece. Mostly cloudy with light showers in the far east.
   Clouds persist along the shores of the North and Baltic Seas, isolated
   showers on western coasts. Mostly overcast with bright spells in the
   Baltics, winds gradually easing through the day. Persistent snow
   showers on Norway's west coast, quite windy further north. Sun in and
   out for Sweden and Finland, more consistently sunny north, though
   remaining breezy.

   Friday
   Patchy morning clouds give way to abundant sunshine in Iberia and
   western Mediterranean. Lingering showers in Italy soon clearing for
   sunshine as well. Showers and breeze continue in the eastern
   Mediterranean, though beginning to ease. Becoming sunny on the Adriatic
   Sea and inland in the north.
   A fine, sunny day for France. Clouds begin encroaching Germany and
   Poland, some reaching further south towards Switzerland, mostly dry.
   Still quite sunny around Czechia, Hungary, and Croatia. Clouds and snow
   into Romania and Bulgaria, remaining dry and cloudy further north.
   Winds quite calm over much of the continent.
   Frequent showers continue on the west coasts of Scotland and Norway.
   Some isolated drizzly showers into Denmark and Sweden and winds rather
   calm in the south. Similar conditions in the Baltics. Finland brighter
   but breezier.
