Beginning to settle in the eastern Mediterranean Friday. Boxing Day Thursday Mostly sunny with cloud patches in northern Spain, fine in Portugal. Scattered clouds and breezy east into the Mediterranean with showers east of Sardinia and Corsica. Italy mostly sunny with showers south. Thundery showers continuing in southern Greece and T├╝rkiye, gale force gusts possible in the Aegean. Quite cloudy inland. High pressure spreads sun across most of France and central Germany giving central Europe a fine day. Sun extends east across the Alps towards Slovakia, Hungary, northern Croatia, and northern Romania. Clouds south of here with patchy snow and showers in Bulgaria and north Greece. Mostly cloudy with light showers in the far east. Clouds persist along the shores of the North and Baltic Seas, isolated showers on western coasts.
