effect on the genesis wave causing the matrix to not stabilize and adding
to the density of the nubula it was consumed by the detonation
of the genesis device .

the genesis wave caused a rejuvenating effort making Spock regress to
a childs age age and also due to the Genesis wave being unstable ages
spock to an middle aged adult. when his body was removed from the
Genesis just before it disintegrated into a fiery end but with khan
when he escaped due to a transporter malfunction on the Enterprise
caused by the Genesis wave khans age regressed to approximatly the
