I agree about Dell, they are crap, mostly because of the shovelware they put on the OS and the inflated prices. I got my daughter a good Dell laptop before she went away to college and after a few months the keys started falling off. Luckily it was under warrenty and Boston University has a contract with Dell for their students and servers. I have a copy of XP pro and Tiger has refurbs available without the OS. They also have kits and build to order. I have had good luck with them in the past. You can get a dual core refurb for 200-300 dollars without the OS. I will keep shopping and check out the links you sent me. Thanx jah |
