I used dyndns for my old sub domain and the www. worked with a free account. Looks like No-Ip want's users to pay a little money before being able to use the www.mydomain.com. I don't mind paying a little money but now I'm in the position to have to think of a domain name which I've been unable to do for weeks :-b Here is the response I recieved from no-ip. Action: Closed Date: Sep 24, 2007 - 16:12 PDT From: Adam LaForge If you want to use www before your hostname, you need to set the Mask URL option on your hostname. This is only allowed for Enhanced users. Regards, Adam No-IP Support GalaxyNET Information Portal (A WEB BBS) Community - Creativity - Self Sufficiency http://www.galaxynet.servebbs.com |
