Yes cars have changed a bit and as usual, when specs get tighter and engines
gets more complex, the easier it is for something to really screw it up. Even
with today's advances most of the materials used in the construction of then
engines really hasn't changed much yet, Yes they may run cleaner longer, but
why push it to it's limits? Doing that could invite trouble, all you'd have to
do is forget one time and boom you could end up with serious engine damage,
depending of course on how long you forgot about it for.
