Hehe I was there!
still have the join script in my "v" dir for joining foriegnlegionnet.
We are a little crippled as we cant dialout via telnet with vadv/vbbs.
(except for the os2 version)
So we use a batch that bundles up the virtualnet outbound files to
a file that vadv's vnet can import by command line /switch.
then its a matter of moveing the files back and forth between nodes.
I have an ftn mailer up 24/7 that allows for file transports via the current
Fidonet internet protocols FTP, Binkp, Ifcico, Telnet and a few other
experimental ones. (http, nntp, smtp, pop3)

You will need to choose a mailer(irex, argus, radius, taurus to name some).
They can double as a way to grab Fidonet if you want too.
