I'm not sure if this was forwarded correctly so here it is again: From: Billy Corgan #88 @1717008 To: All Subj: "Hummer" by Smashing Pump Date: 08/10/95 02:38 ================================================================ I saw a request for the song "Hummer" by Smashing Pumpkins and here is what I could figure out: The intro is basically just a D chord. I'll try to tab it out: e|--2b3r-----2------2b3r-------3b4r----2b3r-------2----2b3r----------------- B|--------3----------------3------------------3---------------3------------- It occasionally goes: e|-----3h7---- instead of the bend and release the chords then I think go D-(mute)-D-G-C the D chord is a normal D-Chord the G-Chord is (EADGBe) 320033 the C Chord is X32013 Basically the song is pretty much centered around the D-Chord. The long break at the end is usually just fingerpicking the D-Chord. Thats about it for now. Not sure about the validatity, but hey it sounds close. Another song tabbed horribly courtesy of Billy Corgan buh-bye --- * UniQWK v3.3a* The Windows Mail Reader |
