I am always surprised at the number of people that do not know what BBS is or means. I could be talking to the most intelligent internet person, who could tell me anything about HTML, JAVA or anything else, but if I ask "You know what a BBS is right?"... I get the weirdest stares. I believe if the BBSs were advertised more in places that regular people frequent, then the BBS scene might really boom again. It is just that the BBS scene now is truly underground, found only by those who either used to have a BBS or those who used to call them regularly. Steve |
