I keep forgetting how to do basic stuff yet this doesn't have to do anything
with age, it has to do with practice. I have the same problem with guitar.
There are songs I used to know that I have forgotten yet, when I go over
them, I am able to get them back from memory. I have been playing bass since
Covid and it's my plan to retire this February and 1) play out in a classic
rock band and 2) set up a studio on my work desk. I have an eight track hard
drive recorder and stuff. I am picking up a Yamaha mixing console. I have
many songs to record.
