 I believe they can coexist together, but (forgive if wrong) the internet
 has made alot of the average people lazy. The typing and keyboard interaction
 that BBSing takes is way too much for them. I admit it is a lot easier to lay
 in my bed moving the mouse on my nightstand and occassionally typing some
 words in a search engine than it is to BBS.. so what I meant above is maybe
 the hype/excitement over the WWW/http will fade down.
