((haven't looked at code in a while) and while just using his basic code for a rebirth of VBBS would work for a while, it wont work forever as you wont be able to modify the important lower level aspects of it. As to rewriting it, that actually sounds like an interesting project. I will think about writing it in Xbasic, but the hardest part would be doing the ground up work on the scripting functions...
