   Windy and cold central and northern Europe, some Mediterranean showers

   Sunday
   A rather cloudy day for Portugal and Spain with some showers developing
   later. Some early showers for France, then dry bright. A scattering of
   showers for the British Isles mostly in east. A dry and cold day for
   the Low Countries, Germany, Poland and Denmark, as high pressure offers
   settled conditions. Cold and dry for Norway and Sweden, perhaps with
   some light snow far north. Finland, the Baltic States, Belarus and
   Ukraine will see a dry cold day.
   Another cloudy but mostly dry day for Central Europe, perhaps with some
   light mountain snow over Switzerland. Best of the sunshine over
   Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary. Sunny but cold over Romania and the
   Balkans.
   Some showers for the Balearics, longer spells of rain for Sardinia and
   Corsica, and thunderstorms for Italy. Cold but mostly dry for Greece,
   perhaps some rain and sleet over the Aegean Sea. Some sleet/snow
   showers for northern parts of Turkiye. Showers, perhaps a thunderstorm,
   for Cyprus.

   Monday
   Showers in western Portigal and northern parts of Spain. Eastern,
   central and southern Spain should be dry with sunny spells. Some
   showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Italy should be fair and sunny
   although some showers in the far north. Greece will be fine and warm
   with plenty of sunshine. Heavy showers for Crete.
   Rain in the far east of France but most central and western areas
   should be dry with plenty of sunshine. Cloudy in the Low Countries.
   Breezy and cold in Germany, some sunny spells. Bright and chilly but
   cold for Poland. Hungary and Austria should be mostly dry, but rain in
   Switzerland.
   Breezy and cold in Denmark with more sunshine. Fair too in the Baltic
   States. Finland is likely to be dry with some clear skies,. Dry in
   southern Sweden with sunshine here. Stying fair in southern Norway.
   Windy with cloud and some outbreaks of sleet and snow in northern
   Norway.
