Re: the hobbit Yeah I saw it and recently saw the other two. I thought the first was great but the second and third were just pretty good. I think the main issue I had was trying to stretch one kids book into a much larger thing. Even with the Silmarillion and other derivitive works there isn't as much there as to fit into three movies.
