Re: Joke > > from what i've seen i'm more a musician than alot of guitarists i know... > > i read MUSIC... i dont need TABALATURE.... > Okay, so you can read music, and then "figure out" the lead. Reading music I don't know many guitarrists who actually read sheet music to play it. Granted, I know how to read sheet music, have been able to for close to 15 years, but I NEVER play from sheet music. It's easier to 1) be shown how to play something, 2) figure it out yourself, or 3) if it's your own original, just play till it sounds good (record yourself, then "remember" how you played it before... By the way, the dude who said he played green day, and then he tried to get his friends to play a drum beat and they couldn't... ok, I'll play your beat, then you play the solo to Mr. Crowley by Randy Rhoads.... OR- to make things fair, just play some rhythm guitar for the rolling stones... Green Day has no fucken talent.. it's ALL power chords. That is not playing guitar. I have been playing guitar for 9 years, and have been playing drums for 3. I can play drums decent enough to play thru a set of songs. It took me close to 5 years before I could do that on rhythm guitar. I'm not saying drums are easier, but guitar sure as hell isn't easy. |
