  Northern Washington County in east Tennessee...
  West central Johnson County in east Tennessee...
  Carter County in east Tennessee...

* Until 700 PM EDT.

* At 558 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Spurgeon, or
  near Kingsport, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Elizabethton, Jonesborough,
  Central, Spurgeon, Midway, Pine Crest, and Colonial Heights.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 26 in Tennessee between mile markers 5 and 27.
 Interstate 81 in Tennessee between mile markers 52 and 75.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
