   Increasingly wet Portugal then southern Spain

   Sunday
   A band of rain arrives over Portugal and western Spain through the day,
   sunny eastern Spain. Heavy rain or thunderstorms along with strong
   winds for the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica as well as Italy, away
   from the north. Sunny for Greece, Turkiye and Cyprus.
   Dry but with low cloud or fog for France. Dry and bright with morning
   fog for the Low Countries, Germany, Denmark, and Poland.
   Some snow for northern Norway and Sweden, dry further south. Mostly dry
   for Finland, the Baltic States, Belarus and Ukraine but rather cloudy.
   Settled weather conditions over Central Europe and the Balkans, with
   early fog and frost, but sunny through the day.

   Monday
   Extensive heavy rain sweeps into southwestern Spain and southern
   Portugal. Some rain extending eastwards, but largely dry toward
   northern Spain. The Balearics generally dry. Showery rain for Corsica
   and Sardinia. More frequent rain for western Italy, drier to the east.
   Heavy rain over the central Mediterranean moves toward Greece from the
   southwest later, but the Aegean Sea, Turkiye and Cyprus stay dry and
   mostly sunny.
   Quiet but cloudy weather through much of France, some rain toward the
   Alps, plus snow in the mountains. Staying settled through the Low
   Countries, Germany and eastern Europe with areas of fog and low cloud,
   but also some sun. Also dry into southern Scandinavia. Chilly
   southeasterly breezes for the Baltic. Some snow flurries for northern
   Sweden. A little rain for far west of Norway. Chilly and dry through
   Finland. Local snow showers in the far north.
