Yo Pardners!
...been about 15 years since I last typed that salutation.  Was sysop of one of
the first VBBS systems in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The visit here has been enjoyable.  Realization into a web-based platform is
really smooth.  I d/l some of the software and have been playing with ideas.

I wonder if the old bbs community and its networked message boards / files are
still viable.  That, by itself, may be a good discussion.

Does bbs software have a place in a world full of blogs and social networking?
Where is bbs going?
