If you just want to add one file then put it in the directory, login to your
BBS, go to the file menu and type /UPL. Tell it the name of the file and give
it a description.

If the file has a file_id.diz or desc.sdi then just put the file into the
directory and run vfilesyn.

Or you could put the file into the directory, add its description to files.bbs
and then run vfilesyn. I'm not sure why you are renaming and restoring
directories.
