I know it may not be much consolation to you, but I am a few  
years older than you, I've gone through being without access to  
running water (except for the kind that is readily available  
through my leaky roof) ..and learned that I can heat up some  
water and use that for a quick sponge bath.  With regard to no  
toilet however.. I dunno, except that maybe a neighbor could  
oblige?

Oh.. and happy birthday to you at this seemingly unhappy time!
