I wasn't sure if you wanted to create a Terminal program with these features
or was looking for an existing Terminal program with these features.
I think it would be quite a bit of work to create one.
Most likely one already exists.

I looked in my Fido-Node list and found a BBS that runs Fido in Russia.
These are located in Moscow.
Here is their information. Try to contact them and see if they can give you
an answer to you question. I notice several of the Russian posters in Fido
DO use a program that uses Unicode.

Fido Address 2:50/0
Station: Russia
Sysop: Alex Barinov
Location: Moscow
Phone : 7-095-780-5448 <---- computer modem number, use a dialup
terminal program to call.
Speed : 9600

2:50/128

Dima Maloff

2:50/993

Sergey Zaytcev

2:50/9999
R50 Hold
Alex Barinov

I am still new to fido myself. I'm not sure how to send crashmail to another
Fido email address. I think you route it like this alex.barinov@2:50/0

Alex Barinov is the Region 50 Network Cordinator (Russia). Which means all
Fido Traffic goes through his computer. He is most likely very knowledgeable
about computers. Since he is located in Moscow you might be able to look him
up in your phone book and call him. He would definetly know the answer to
your question.

I did a www.google.com search for Alex Barinov and I got
http://reactyamind.by.ru/ as his homepage. The page is written in Russian so
I cannot understand it. :-( You will probably be able to read it. :-) I'm a
stupid American. I only understand English. :-)

I think Alex Barinov will be your best source of information. You can also
search google for the other names to see if they have a home page with an
email address you can email them at. Or look them up in your phone
directory.
