I was using MBSE as the mailhub, but Mystic as my day to day mail reading,
etc...

I was looking at changing from MBSE, as I'm in a few other nets and it doesnt
handle inbound files with long names very well... I was going through the code
and trying to enhance it when I thought I'd give Synchronet a go. Rob's active
development on Synchronet is a winner too.

I'm not sure that it does a better job of long file names (but so far it does
toss them and forward them on OK), but I like how it pings me when an incoming
message has me in the to line - as well as email support. I'm also liking how I
can toggle between my regular UTF8 terminal and a CP437 terminal to use the BBS
(without changing anything). So I also prefer it over mystic, and it gave me an
opportunity to collapse both those systems into 1.

I've got my mailing lists going into it now too!
...

... All right, so I like spending money! But name one other extravagance.
