We have a 1984 Mercury Marquis that seems to 'cut out' when driving down
the highway. I guess bogs down would be a more appropriate way to explain
what it is doing. It does it in a few short spurts and hten straightens up.
It doesn't do it all the time. It will go for a few days and nothing, then
will do it several times in a day. Rarely it will die on those same days,
when at a stop lite, but will start right back up. We've changed the fuel
filter, no difference. Any ideas? This has been going on for over a year
now.
