L#@Re: O.J. Simpson L#@> Getting back to the Simpson trial, does anyone here believe O.J. should ta L#@> the stand? It would be very interesting to watch but it would appear he L#@> would have much more to lose then to gain by doing so. However, if O.J. d L#@> plan on getting some of his reputation back in the public's eyes he would L#@> tempted to get on the stand to do so but I would be surprised if his lawye L#@> allow him to. The defense would have to be not very confident in their L#@> presented case so far if they allow Simpson to take the stand. Opinions? L#@I can't imagine a lawyer letting his client take the stand. Even innocent ( L#@know, I know...), that would be courtroom suicide. Saving your reputation i L#@not the issue, saving your life is. What good's a reputation when the L#@prosecution can get you to hang yourself with your own tongue? L#@ <<The Legend>> I am probably showing my ignorance of the FARCE known as the AmeriKan Justice System, but I think if the man honestly DIDN'T do it, the best thing he can do is take the stand and TELL the jury he didn't do it. I can't help but believe that an innocent man usually has an air of honesty about him that shines through when he talks about the thing he is accused of.... --- SLMR 2.0 Hit man for hire.
