T#@> > 1) Why does the DA in South Carolina seek the death sentence against Sus T#@> > Smith and the DA in Los Angeles doesn't against O.J. Simpson? Is it T#@I don't have any slant on the question. Just trying to get some discussion T#@going in the sub. In my opinion, the obvious reason is due to O.J. being a T#@American hero to many people it would be a big mistake (in terms of having T#@any chance of getting re-elected as DA) to even try to kill such a man. Maybe it is because not even the prosecutor believes they have anything more than the most circumstantial evidence against O.J. No Witnesses, no solid evidence, just a few items that could have been planted (not by 30 or 40 Cops) by ONE cop looking to make a name for himself. And then there are those prosecutors looking to make the "fast break" in the political arena: this is a good stepping stone to give Marcia nd Chris some publicity whether O.J. is guilty or not. --- SLMR 2.0 Contents may have settled during shipping.
