Thanks for your input. BTW (not directed at you Black Widow), I discussed my stance with my spouse after I posted that, and she was in full concurrence that my contention is generally correct, at least, in Texas. Her background included preparing assets statements etc for several divorce cases her two bosses went through, and she closely worked with the divorce lawyers.
