I'm reading a little pamphlet compiled by the NRA on state gun rights (for Missouri). It talks about how you can't have a concealed weapon, but that you can "while traveling in a continuous journey peaceably through the state. " This makes me wonder about something. I had heard that it is legal to have a weapon "at your disposal" in ANY state, other than your own, while in a vehicle. I heard it termed "the highwayman law" and supposedly dates back to the 1800's... anyone know about this law? |
