I would agree with you but if Simpson is making the call I would not be
surprised to see him take the stand.  In O.J.'s case reputation plays a
bigger role then it would for you or I as no matter where he goes people will
know about the case and some will still think he is guilty.  It's a risk I
think O.J. is willing to take, especially with most of the defense's
witnesses hurting him more then they are helping him right now.  The defense
looks like they might have been better off to throw O.J.'s mom and sister up
on the stand and then rested right there.  I think they would have had a not
guilty plea or a hung jury for sure.
