I did have the server public before moving closer to The > Village where I Mother live to watch over her. But sad fact is I went from 20 > down and 50 up cable speed to 27 up and 1.5 down. So now only through the BBS > When it was public I'd have 10 to 20 people playing. > I did register v3.09 to get the gold codes just the other day. There are a couple of ways that I have tried to bounce from a telnet BBS to a TWGS but both had some latency that my users at the time found annoying. There's TelnetDoor by R&M Software if you are in an all Win32 environment. https://www.randm.ca/bbs/telnetdoor/. I finally settled on running the BBS under OS/2 like in its heyday so the other solution is the Citrisoft Internet door suite which had both OS/2 and Win32 versions. I can't find it on the Internet right at the moment but I'll dig through my archives and see what I come up with. Again, there was some latency which folks weren't fond of, but they do the job if you really want to do that. -- [AT2k] -- Your VBBS/VADV Support Center -- [www.at2k.org] -- [bbs.at2k.org] |
