Well locked or not but this area had an incident several years ago where the nine year old child home from school for the day got the hidden key, unlocked the gun cabinet, found the bullets and loaded the gun. Shot a neighbor child in the back while she was on her snowmobile. You can lock em up and hide the keys and hide the bullets but the temptation is going to be there for children. Think back to when you played cowboy or Rambo or soldier, wouldn't you have preferred the real thing? Children just don't fully understand the dangers until they get much older> |
