However, as I've said having the gun does increase the percentages of such a thing occuring but in your mind decreases (and it could well do so) the chances of a person breaking in your house and killing you or your family. My question still remains if you do keep the gun and bullets locked seperately, do you have time to get both of them if you are woke in the middle of the night by a burglar?
