Canada and Mexico could be next, and it would be fairly easy. I think all heads of households need to make the personal decision as to whether or not to have firearms for protection, altho' I tend to agree there is greater danger to children from the firearms then there is of criminal intrusion under most -- but not all -- circumstances. It depends in large part where one lives. The decision needs to be carefully weighed as to potential benefit vs accident potential and ready acces vs securing the weapon. One thing to consider is, how many people do you personally know NEAR your home that have been surprised by an unexpected intruder IN THE FLESH compared to what you have read, heard or percieved in the media? Then cons- ider kids if you have them, and how they are able to get into ANYTHING -- and they have been into more of your personal stuff than you will EVER know or WILL know, I guarantee ya! ZED!
