There is more likelihood of someone in my household slipping and falling and injuring or killing themselves in my bathtub, too, but I don't spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about. In fact, there are ALL kinds of ways people can injure or kill themselves in the average household. Most people deal with it by using their own intelligence inside the family. Not by passing sweeping laws that the entire country MUST live by. By the way, the Constitution does guarantee the right to gun ownership, but I haven't seen ANYTHING in it that guarantees the right to absolute safety. |
