Go figure. Well, this is no surprise to me. I have been a Radiology CT Tech for 12 years and still have to bite my tongue every time a patient is found to have ANY sort of back or neck problem and an orthopod gets involved. Many times I have wanted to just blurt out " No!!! Go see a chiroprator first!!" This really is from both professional and personal experience because my youngest sister has a s curve scoliosis and at age 12 they wanted to do the harrington rod thing but she refused. She is now 31 and has live a very happy life and has been as pain free as any other person. But what is really important is the level of pain can and does vary from patient to patient. My feeling is that if you can tolerate the pain, if it is not too severe, then NEVER accept the knife. Once they cut then all other treatments are too little, too late. ---<<<Navarre>>>--- Sysop Of The Future! Future Board!
