Replying to a message of Poindexter Fortran to acnet.bbs-promotion: PF> Unfortunately, I think a lot of people turned the page on a chapter of PF> their life and moved on, so to speak. BBsing was a big part of a lot PF> of people's lives, and they're in different places now. Going back PF> to BBSes would seem like a backwards step. Either that or they're too spoiled by the eye and ear candy of the Web. Most of my callers are either ex-users, ex-sysops or current sysops. I just think people are scared of anything that doesn't have "LOL" or "O RLY?!" in it ...
