Anyone see the report a couple of weeks ago about the "medical breakthrough"
"discovery" that headaches can be caused by neck problems?  You'd think that
the media was completely unaware that chiropractors knew that back in 1900.
Further, you'd think that osteopathy, which merged with organized medicine in
the 60's, had never existed, or that medical scientists somehow kept
themselves completely unaware of the scientific knowledge which that
discipline had cultured since the late 1930's.

It is estimated that the average 25 year old has been exposed to 10,000 hours
of medical advertising.  Is it any wonder that, with "breakthroughs" like
these, our national healthcare bill was $890 billion last year?
