Afaik, Venezuelan oil is very low quality and needs a whole lot of
post-processing, which is the reason why they can only reliably sell it when
prices skyrocket (because they can sell it cheaper than other competitors).

I think EU politicians are cringeworthy with the Ukraine crisis. Seriously.

The Russians walk in with tanks and soldiers and vodka bottles, and the onl├▒y
thing the EU politicians get to say is that they are gonna raise tariffs, but
only on products they don't really need.

Then some Russian minister grabs a mic, asks "Are you sure that you want to pay
2000 eur for each m┬│ of gas?" and leaves, because he needs say no more. I am
sure Putin is afraid, scared to death and hidding behind his massive Spetznaz
army because he fears Europeans.
