Hello Arelor! ** On Monday 16.08.21 - 07:05, Arelor wrote to August Abolins: >> "It is wrong to call a person who declines a shot an 'anti- >> vaxxer,- states AAPS executive director Jane Orient, M.D. A> Somebody had to say this, and it was said. Well done, Jane. The terms "the undecided", or "vaccine hesitant" are also thrown into the narrative. A> It is very tirying to see they are trying to lump vaccine A> scheptiks with common anti-vaxers or conspiracy nuts. Also, A> not surprising, but still, lame. Trying? I'd say they have succeeded because even the main media continue to use those classifications for people not following what the gov't "experts" are recommending. Isn't there some "science" behind the notion that if a lie is repeated long enough, then it becomes the liar's reality? By then, no amount of persuation can pull them back into the real world? I'm just tired of hearing medical advice from politicians or their poster-child du jour instead of direct testimony or recommendations from virologists and immunologists. The lack of the latter seems suspicious to me. Occassionally the gov't makes reference to "our team of medical experts", but never mention anyone by name. -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.50 * Origin: (} Pointy McPointface (618:250/1.9) |
