Hello Rob Mccart!

 RM> I'm sure that's true to a point. The vaccine likely won't

RM> will almost certainly land you in a hospital or a coffin.

At a 98%+ recovery rate, that certainty isn't so certain as you
may think.

RM> [...] and my niece's husband finally came down with a

Why not confirm that with a test that identifies the ant-bodies
for it?

AA>> Being tested positive, and having no symptons, could be a

RM> They say that 80% of those who get it show almost no

ANYONE can still spread it, including the vaxx'd.

AA>> Dear people. If you have no symptoms of cold/flu, and you

 AA>> anything to anyone.

RM> Less likely to spread it but they know that yelling and

RM> someone within 6 or 8 feet. Even talkingis not all that

RM> it to about 17 feet, even over top of the isles in a
 RM> grocery store.

That 17' may be a physical possibility with no inhibitions, but
it would most likely be unrealistic. Most people would either
stifle a sneeze internally, or cover up a sneeze.

RM> That assumption is how it has spread as fast as it has. Do
RM> you really think these gatherings where hundreds of people
RM> come down with Covid a few days later were filled with
RM> people sneezing all over each other?

I have reservations on how the "cases" are determined and
declared. It is entirely possible that the numbers that the
media spews out are over-exaggeratted.

AA>> I literally feel more sick of [...] my not being able to
AA>> earn a normal living with my biz than I would from having
AA>> to cope with a flu that has a 99% survival rate.

RM> But a lot more than 1% end up in hospital for days or

RM> just the deaths that are a problem, plus it helps to now
RM> and then ask yourself what 1% of your countries population

 RM> things up too quickly.

Don't forget to add people who died from their not having the
necessary surguries and hospital attention they needed for
other ailments.

RM> I feel for the regular people out there suffering
RM> financial difficulties on top of all the other issues. I'm
RM> retired so my pension incomes are not in danger, [...]

Right. At least you don't to worry whether you will have
SOMETHING in your wallet every month. I had to scramble to
reduce costs all across the board: lights off, heat off,
hotwater-tank off, small coffe-room refrigerator off, etc..

RM> [...] other than from the effect of prices going up fairly
RM> dramatically on a lot of items I have to purchase.

I am poised to rise prices (or at least not offer additional
discounts) for people who work in the banking and credit card
industries.

RM> Here they have been paying people about $2000 a month if
RM> they want to stay home because they 'don't feel safe at
RM> work'. It was a great idea but it's amazing how many have
RM> taken that to mean they have a paid vacation [...]

Yes.. it's a mess.

RM> [...] An auto repair place I use has lost 75% of their
RM> staff to this. How 'unsafe' is it to be fixing a car 15
RM> feet from someone else working on another car?

The subsidy programme are almost designed to be taken advantage
of.

RM> [...] these people who felt unsafe at work can be found
RM> most days drinking in the local bars when we are not in
 RM> total shutdown.

Again.. people will find a way to get that $2000 whether they
need it or not.

RM> Meanwhile the owner of the place is barely surviving due
RM> to a lack of business while customers have to wait 6 to 8
RM> weeks for an appointment because there are not enough
 RM> mechanics working.

I don't think the garages here were struggling. Maybe some
scheduled repairs were delayed, but the garages have not been
at the brink of bankruptcy or anything so serious. Employers
with payroll received about 80% subsidies to help retain the
employees they needed at any one time. Those large incorporated
or limited companies qualified for 0% financing.
