Jokes aside, impressive resumes hurt you quite a bit if you are trying to get a
low qualification job. When I went out of college and found out that real
engineering jobs were out of my reach - no offer in the wild for junior
engineers I could realistically take - I thought I could try applying for less
qualified jobs in manufacturing industry in order to reach an engineering
position via internal promotion, eventually.

Lots of recruiters looking for employees for really simple tasks (like data
input, meassuring pieces or moving boxes) will reject you right away as soon as
they see you have a degree in anything.

Have I already mentioned I hate my country?
