Haha, actually I have never used a dating site, but for what I have heard, they
are like job-hunting sites. Everybody inflating their own CV beyond
credibility. Worst thing is that, since everybody is doing it, if you don't do
it, you will look like a total loser among the thousand people with   
incredible profiles.
