The issue with most policies related to freedom of choice is that they can
always be argued to affect other people.

For example, you may want to have a pet bear. If you bring the subject up with
your neighbors, you can bet somebody will complain. You may argue that having a
bear is your decission and it affects nobody but yourself. Then they will tell
you that the bear affects everybody because he may escape in a blood rampage
and eat people's kids.

This is exactly the issue we have with things such as alcohol, tobacco and
other drug policies. "I wanna smoke Maryjane!" "We are gonna ban it, because
you may get high and drive over a kid while stoned."

In the case of the china-virus vaccine, the dialogue goes like: "I don't wanna
take the vaccine, and you shouldn't care because it affects only me" "It does
affect us, because if you don't take the vaccine you may infect us and kill us"

I personally err in the side of freedom, so in my opinion you can have your
bear, you can smoke your Maryjane, and you may skip as many vaccines as you
like.

By the way, I also hate this modern trend that is being created, according to
which authoritarians are declaring certain subjects an issue, and if you don't
side with their own position on that issue, they proceed to mark you as an
opponent even if you have no actual position in the matter. I think this is
going to lead to a very dangerous situation.

If social justice warriors start lumping everybody who does not agree with them
with actual nazies and white supremacists, for example, what is going to happen
is that, eventually, neutral people will side with the extremists they have
been lumped with.
