I think they've already started doing that. Apparently, the  
numbers of "cases" (based on per capita) has increased compared  
to the same time last year.  Occupancy of hospital ICUs are at  
an all-time high, ..but this is *after* milions of people have  
been vaxx'd.  But, they are blaming the spread on the VOC  
(variants of concern), not the vaxx.
