That is good going!  But.. apparently we are vulnerable to the  
"variants of concern".  

I developed a nasty flu around Oct 2019. The first signs of  
something amiss was on a Thurs, but it was rather mild and  
innocuous. Friday morn was ok, but I felt definite signs of flu  
(chills and onset of fever). Saturday.. I managed to stave off  
the symptoms with my own concoction of drugs during the day. But  
in the evening it was the worst. Temp rose over 100F, and  
reached 103F the last time I was awake.  But on Sunday morn when  
I woke up, it felt like I had just stepped through a think  
curtain of fog and a heavy weight had been lifted off my back.  
There was a tiny remnant of headache and cough.. but by the  
afternoon all that was gone.  I sprinted back to life in time  
for work on Monday.

Then... it was November when the media first started reporting  
on covid-19.

Even here in Canada, it is disturbing that the media is putting  
forth debates on "Vaccine Passports".   That is disconcerting.
