Hmmmm... you know, I tend to think that, when crap hits the fan, the people in
charge gets the flame (when not the blame). I mean,  the virus has caused
right-wing people to organize protests for the first time since I have memory. I
mean, in Spain, this is BIG. This is the power of things going incredibly wrong.
 
As far as I know, Spanish media is portraying American efforts against the virus
to be lame an ineffective - probably to cover up our own mess. I would expect
American Democrat media to be doing the same. It is hard to be benefited in such
situation. Maybe I am very wrong, in which case I will crawl back to my hole :-)
 
The riots are a different thing, because the media cannot convince you that
looters are courageous heroes after they burnt your store. Plus then the
federals can show up as saviours and kick looter arses, which I would expect to
have a lot of positive PR potential.
