Yes, it will be totally copy-able and eraseable.  And all better than VCr,
because when you record something onto them, you won't lose picture quality,
and when something is erased, there won't be a trace of it left, unlike tapes
where if you record something over another there is a little audio hiss in
the background from the other thing.
