...I hate to tell you this, but the motor may be dead...that's exactly what
happened to me both times my CD-ROM died...you can fix it, but it'll cost a lot
more than it's worth...
Doesn't really matter how old it is either...my first one was probably about a
year old, and my second wasn't even 90 days old (obviously defective)...it just
depends on the type, how often you use it, all that...
